(1072) They impress on thee as a favour that they have embraced Islam. Say, "Count not your Islam as a favour upon me: Nay, Allah has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if ye be true and sincere.

(1073) He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning.

(1074) (A voice will say:) "This is what was promised for you,- for every one who turned (to Allah) in sincere repentance, who kept (His Law),

(1075) "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!"

(1076) As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see?

(1077) And in heaven is your Sustenance, as (also) that which ye are promised.

(1078) (Abraham) said: "And what, O ye Messengers, is your errand (now)?"

(1079) And in the Thamud (was another Sign): Behold, they were told, "Enjoy (your brief day) for a little while!"

(1080) Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open!
