(16) So taste, because you neglected the meeting of this day of yours; surely We forsake you; and taste the abiding chastisement for what you did.

(17) And it shall be said: Today We forsake you as you neglected the meeting of this day of yours and your abode is the fire, and there are not for you any helpers:

(18) Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful;

(19) And neglect the hereafter.

(20) Surely these love the transitory and neglect a grievous day before them.
