(3) And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims."

(4) So why were there not among the generations before you those of enduring discrimination forbidding corruption on earth - except a few of those We saved from among them? But those who wronged pursued what luxury they were given therein, and they were criminals.

(5) Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame.

(6) But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil -

(7) So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them,

(8) O people, an example is presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those you invoke besides Allah will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for that purpose. And if the fly should steal away from them a [tiny] thing, they could not recover it from him. Weak are the pursuer and pursued.

(9) And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued."

(10) So they pursued them at sunrise.
