(351) They intend to put out the Light of Allah (i.e. the Religion of Islam, this qur'an, and the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) with their mouths. But Allah will bring His Light to perfection even though the disbelievers hate (it).

(352) He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this qur'an, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). And verily, they had been before in manifest error;

(353) Therefore, believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and in the Light (this qur'an) which We have sent down. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

(354) Allah has prepared for them a severe torment. So fear Allah and keep your duty to Him, O men of understanding who have believed! Allah has indeed sent down to you a Reminder (this qur'an).

(355) (And has also sent to you) a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), who recites to you the Verses of Allah (the qur'an) containing clear explanations, that He may take out those who believe and do righteous good deeds, from the darkness (of polytheism and disbelief) to the light (of Islamic Monotheism). And whosoever believes in Allah and performs righteous good deeds, He will admit him into Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) to dwell therein forever. Allah has indeed granted for him an excellent provision.

(356) Nun. [These letters (Nun, etc.) are one of the miracles of the qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the pen and by what they (the angels) write (in the Records of men).

(357) When Our Verses (of the qur'an) are recited to him, he says: "Tales of the men of old!"

(358) Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this qur'an. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not.

(359) So wait with patience for the Decision of your Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish - when he cried out (to Us) while he was in deep sorrow. (See the qur'an, Verse 21:87).

(360) And verily, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes (through hatred) when they hear the Reminder (the qur'an), and they say: "Verily, he (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) is a madman!"
