Coveting the perishable goods of this life: with Allah are profits and spoils abundant. Even thus were ye yourselves before, till Allah conferred on you His favours: Therefore carefully investigate. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.

(2) Allah loveth not that evil should be noised abroad in public speech, except where injustice hath been done; for Allah is He who heareth and knoweth all things.

(3) O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(4) They will come forth,- their eyes humbled - from (their) graves, (torpid) like locusts scattered abroad,

(5) Becoming dust scattered abroad,

(6) Then spread abroad a Message,

(7) Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad
