(251) O you who believe! Make not (a decision) in advance before allah and His messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), and fear allah. Verily! allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

(252) Verily, those who lower their voices in the presence of allah's messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), they are the ones whose hearts allah has tested for piety. For them is forgiveness and a great reward.

(253) And know that among you there is the messenger of allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم). If he were to obey you (i.e. follow your opinions and desires) in much of the matter, you would surely be in trouble. But allah has endeared the Faith to you and has beautified it in your hearts, and has made disbelief, wickedness and disobedience (to allah and His messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم) hateful to you. Such are they who are the rightly guided.

(254) The bedouins say: "We believe." Say: "You believe not but you only say, 'We have surrendered (in Islam),' for Faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey allah and His messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), He will not decrease anything in reward for your deeds. Verily, allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

(255) Only those are the believers who have believed in allah and His messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of allah. Those! They are the truthful.

(256) (allah will say to the angels): "Both of you throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of allah, in His messengers).

(257) And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime. Verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying allah and His messenger Nuh (Noah) عليه السلام].

(258) Believe in allah and His messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And such of you as believe and spend (in allah's Way), theirs will be a great reward.

(259) And what is the matter with you that you believe not in allah! While the messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) invites you to believe in your Lord (allah); and He (allah) has indeed taken your covenant, if you are real believers.

(260) And those who believe in (the Oneness of) allah and His messengers - they are the Siddiqun (i.e. those followers of the Prophets who were first and foremost to believe in them), and the martyrs with their Lord, they shall have their reward and their light. But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of allah - Islamic Monotheism) and deny Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) - they shall be the dwellers of the blazing Fire.
