(461) If two parties among the Believers fall into a quarrel, make ye peace between them: but if one of them transgresses beyond bounds against the other, then fight ye (all) against the one that transgresses until it complies with the command of Allah; but if it complies, then make peace between them with justice, and be fair: for Allah loves those who are fair (and just).

(462) O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

(463) It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein.

(464) But how many generations before them did We destroy (for their sins),- stronger in power than they? Then did they wander through the land: was there any place of escape (for them)?

(465) And those that distribute and apportion by Command;-

(466) But his wife came forward (laughing) aloud: she smote her forehead and said: "A barren old woman!"

(467) And in Moses (was another Sign): Behold, We sent him to Pharaoh, with authority manifest.

(468) But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord: So the stunning noise (of an earthquake) seized them, even while they were looking on.

(469) Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"!

(470) Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)?
