(Are these) like those who abide in the fire and who are made to drink boiling water so it rends their bowels asunder.

(42) So know that there is no god but Allah, and, ask protection for your fault and for the believing men and the believing women; and Allah knows the place of your returning and the place of your abiding.

(43) And if those who disbelieve fight with you, they would certainly turn (their) backs, then they would not find any protector or a helper.

(44) In a book that is protected

(45) Allah indeed has sanctioned for you the expiation of your oaths and Allah is your protector, and He is the Knowing the Wise.

(46) O you who believe! turn to Allah a sincere turning; maybe your Lord will remove from you your evil and cause you to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, on the day on which Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him; their light shall run on before them and on their right hands; they shall say: Our Lord! make perfect for us our light, and grant us protection, surely Thou hast power over all things.

(47) Say: Have you considered if Allah should destroy me and those with me-- rather He will have mercy on us; yet who will protect the unbelievers from a painful punishment?

(48) Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge:

(49) The Lord of the East and the West-- there is no god but He-- therefore take Him for a protector.
