(301) On the earth are signs for those of assured Faith,

(302) For truly did he see, of the signs of his Lord, the Greatest!

(303) The (people) rejected all Our signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will.

(304) He is the One Who sends to His Servant Manifest signs, that He may lead you from the depths of Darkness into the Light and verily Allah is to you most kind and Merciful.

(305) Know ye (all) that Allah giveth life to the earth after its death! already have We shown the signs plainly to you, that ye may learn wisdom.

(306) And those who believe in Allah and His messengers- they are the Sincere (lovers of Truth), and the witnesses (who testify), in the eyes of their Lord: They shall have their Reward and their Light. But those who reject Allah and deny Our signs,- they are the Companions of Hell-Fire.

(307) We sent aforetime our messengers with Clear signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice; and We sent down Iron, in which is (material for) mighty war, as well as many benefits for mankind, that Allah may test who it is that will help, Unseen, Him and His messengers: For Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might (and able to enforce His Will).

(308) Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be humbled to dust, as were those before them: for We have already sent down Clear signs. And the Unbelievers (will have) a humiliating Penalty,-

(309) What Allah has bestowed on His Messenger (and taken away) from the people of the townships,- belongs to Allah,- to His Messenger and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; In order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealthy among you. So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment.

(310) And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"
