(861) Allah sets forth an example to those who disbelieve the wife of Nuh and the wife of Lut: they were both under two of Our righteous servants, but they acted treacherously towards them so they availed them naught against Allah, and it was said: Enter both the fire with those who enter.

(862) And Allah sets forth an example to those who believe the wife of Firon when she said: My Lord! build for me a house with Thee in the garden and deliver me from Firon and his doing, and deliver me from the unjust people:

(863) And for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the punishment of hell, and evil is the resort.

(864) Or who is it that will be a host for you to assist you besides the Beneficent Allah? The unbelievers are only in deception.

(865) But when they shall see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve shall be sorry, and it shall be said; This is that which you used to call for.

(866) Say: Have you considered if Allah should destroy me and those with me-- rather He will have mercy on us; yet who will protect the unbelievers from a painful punishment?

(867) Say: He is the Beneficent Allah, we believe in Him and on Him do we rely, so you shall come to know who it is that is in clear error.

(868) And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad.

(869) Surely he did not believe in Allah, the Great,

(870) And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe;
