(21) Till, when they reach it (hell-fire), their hearing (ears) and their eyes, and their skins will testify against them as to what they used to do.
(22) O our people! Respond (with obedience) to Allah's Caller (i.e. Allah's Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and believe in him (i.e. believe in that which Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم has brought from Allah and follow him). He (Allah) will forgive you of your sins, and will save you from a painful torment (i.e. hell-fire)
(23) So, when you meet (in fight - Jihad in Allah's Cause) those who disbelieve, smite (their) necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islam), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out Jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam and are saved from the punishment in the hell-fire or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allah's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight) in order to test some of you with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost.
(24) Verily the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the hell-fire in the Hereafter).
(25) We have made it a Reminder (of the hell-fire in the Hereafter), and an article of use for the travellers (and all the others, in this world).
(26) And burning in hell-fire.
(27) (And remember) the Day when He will gather you (all) on the Day of Gathering, - that will be the Day of mutual loss and gain (i.e. loss for the disbelievers as they will enter the hell-fire and gain for the believers as they will enter Paradise). And whosoever believes in Allah and performs righteous good deeds, He will expiate from him his sins, and will admit him to Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) to dwell therein forever; that will be the great success.
(28) I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the hell-fire called As-Sa'ud, or) face a severe torment!
(29) I will cast him into hell-fire.
(30) And what will make you know (exactly) what hell-fire is?
