(1) And recite to them the story of Adam's two sons, in truth, when they both offered a sacrifice [to Allah], and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. Said [the latter], "I will surely kill you." Said [the former], "Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him].

(2) And each [story] We relate to you from the news of the messengers is that by which We make firm your heart. And there has come to you, in this, the truth and an instruction and a reminder for the believers.

(3) It is We who relate to you, [O Muhammad], their story in truth. Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.

(4) And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east.

(5) And mention in the Book [the story of] Abraham. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet.

(6) And has the story of Moses reached you? -

(7) Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness. She said, "Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us." So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said, "Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people."

(8) Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? -

(9) Has there reached you the story of Moses? -

(10) Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -
