(75) And Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and those before him, and the cities overthrown [the towns of the people of [Lut (Lot)] committed sin.

(76) To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by committing sins).

(77) Nay! Man (denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So he) desires to continue committing sins.

(78) Verily, (during the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.

(79) Thamud (people) denied (their Prophet) through their transgression (by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism, and by following polytheism, and by committing every kind of sin).
