And those who believe shall say: Surely the losers are they who have lost themselves and their followers on the resurrection day. Now surely the iniquitous shall remain in lasting chastisement.

(33) So when they saw it as a cloud appearing in the sky advancing towards their valleys, they said: This is a cloud which will give us rain. Nay! it is what you sought to hasten on, a blast of wind in which is a painful punishment,

(34) And Manat, the third, the last?

(35) And certainly a lasting chastisement overtook them in the morning.

(36) And a numerous company from among the last.

(37) Say: The first and the last,

(38) He is the First and the last and the Ascendant (over all) and the Knower of hidden things, and He is Cognizant of all things.

(39) Certainly there is for you in them a good example, for him who fears Allah and the last day; and whoever turns back, then surely Allah is the Self-sufficient, the Praised.

(40) And as to Ad, they were destroyed by a roaring, violent blast.
