(36) "Something like the fate of the People of noah, the 'Ad, and the Thamud, and those who came after them: but Allah never wishes injustice to his Servants.

(37) The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him).

(38) Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud,

(39) So were the People of noah before them for they wickedly transgressed.

(40) And before them, the people of noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors,
