(81) And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!"

(82) Verily, We it is Who give life and cause death; and to Us is the final return.

(83) And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life.

(84) Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He is (engaged) in some affair (such as giving honour or disgrace to some, life or death to some, etc.)!

(85) We have decreed death to you all, and We are not outstripped,

(86) His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. It is He Who gives life and causes death: and He is Able to do all things.

(87) Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its death! Indeed We have made clear the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to you, if you but understand.

(88) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "O you Jews! If you pretend that you are friends of Allah, to the exclusion of (all) other mankind, then long for death if you are truthful."

(89) But they will never long for it (death), because of what (deeds) their hands have sent before them! And Allah knows well the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers).

(90) Say (to them): "Verily, the death from which you flee will surely meet you, then you will be sent back to (Allah), the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, and He will tell you what you used to do."
