Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam."

(413) The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and my warning was duly fulfilled (in them).

(414) He will say: "Dispute not with each other in my Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning.

(415) "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to my Servants."

(416) We know best what they say; and thou art not one to overawe them by force. So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear my Warning!

(417) Behold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable!)

(418) But how (terrible) was my Penalty and my Warning?

(419) The 'Ad (people) (too) rejected (Truth): then how terrible was my Penalty and my Warning?

(420) Yea, how (terrible) was my Penalty and my Warning!
