(401) Allah hath prepared for them stern punishment; so keep your duty to Allah, O men of understanding! O ye who believe! Now Allah hath sent down unto you a reminder,

(402) If ye twain turn unto Allah repentant, (ye have cause to do so) for your hearts desired (the ban); and if ye aid one another against him (Muhammad) then lo! Allah, even He, is his Protecting Friend, and Gabriel and the righteous among the believers; and furthermore the angels are his helpers.

(403) And verily We have beautified the world's heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for the devils, and for them We have prepared the doom of flame.

(404) Say: He it is Who multiplieth you in the earth, and unto Whom ye will be gathered.

(405) Shall We then treat those who have surrendered as We treat the guilty?

(406) On the day when it befalleth in earnest, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves but are not able,

(407) We assuredly had taken him by the right hand

(408) And then severed his life-artery,

(409) And his kin that harboured him

(410) These will dwell in Gardens, honoured.
