(1) And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words of Allah. And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers.

(2) Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals.

(3) So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer - no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed We, of it, are recorders.

(4) Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent.

(5) And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting denial.

(6) Respond to your Lord before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. No refuge will you have that day, nor for you will there be any denial.

(7) There is, at its occurrence, no denial.

(8) And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial.

(9) But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,
