(24) Say: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give.

(25) "And every time I have called to them, that Thou mightest forgive them, they have (only) thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, grown obstinate, and given themselves up to arrogance.

(26) "'And Allah has produced you from the earth growing (gradually),

(27) And gardens of luxurious growth?

(28) But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?-

(29) Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding).
