(61) Has not the Time arrived for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah and of the Truth which has been revealed (to them), and that they should not become like those to whom was given revelation aforetime, but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them are rebellious transgressors.

(62) And We sent Noah and Abraham, and established in their line Prophethood and revelation: and some of them were on right guidance. But many of them became rebellious transgressors.

(63) Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).

(64) And Mary the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His revelations, and was one of the devout (servants).

(65) But truly (revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers.

(66) Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out!

(67) And this is in the Books of the earliest (revelation),-
