(81) It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)!

(82) They will say: "yes indeed; a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, 'Allah never sent down any (Message): ye are nothing but an egregious delusion!'"

(83) Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused).

(84) And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!"

(85) Their eyes lowered in dejection,- ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised!

(86) At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers.

(87) Cast down will be (their owners') eyes.

(88) Have We not made for him a pair of eyes?-
