Then if they give suck to the children for you, give them their due payment, and let each of you accept the advice of the other in a just way. (124) Though they shall be made to see one another [(i.e. on the Day of Resurrection), there will be none but see his father, children and relatives, but he will neither speak to them nor will ask them for any help]. The Mujrim, (criminal, sinner, disbeliever) would desire to ransom himself from the punishment of that Day by his children,

(125) 'And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.'"

(126) Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! They have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but loss.

(127) 'And He, exalted be the Majesty of our Lord, has taken neither a wife nor a son (or offspring or children).

(128) Then how can you avoid the punishment, if you disbelieve, on a Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) that will make the children grey-headed?

(129) Leave Me Alone (to deal) with whom I created lonely (without any wealth or children etc, i.e. Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah Al-Makhzumi)!

(130) And children to be by his side.
